Pour les fêtes je propose exceptionnellement des tirages de ma photo Theatre of Illusions, de la série « Les Natures-Mortes de Tony-Paul Lambert », de 2009.
Cette nature-morte réalisée en février 2009 est parmi mes toutes premières. Elle juxtapose un bouquet de tulipes fatigué et une photo du théâtre Olympique de Vicence, par Andrea Palladio, que j’avais photographié en 2002. Comme un lointain rapporté dans un monde plus intime. C’était à la fois un travail d’auto-citation, mais aussi de jeux de composition (l’asymétrie du bouquet répondant a la rigueur du théâtre) sous forme de réflexion sur le temps qui passe.
Chaque tirage est numéroté et signé, avec une édition a 15 exemplaires.

For the holiday season, I am offering a limited edition of prints of my photograph Theatre of Illusions, from the series ‘Les Natures-Mortes de Tony-Paul Lambert’ (Tony-Paul Lambert’s Still Lifes), from 2009.
This still life, created in February 2009, is one of my very first. It juxtaposes a wilted bouquet of tulips with a photograph of the Olympic Theatre in Vicenza, designed by Andrea Palladio, which I photographed in 2002. Like a distant memory brought into a more intimate world. It was both a work of self-quotation and a play on composition (the asymmetry of the bouquet contrasting with the rigour of the theatre) in the form of a reflection on the passing of time.
Each print is numbered and signed, with an edition of 15 copies.
